Hollyhocks have been grown in gardens for centuries, their tall spikes of satiny, crepe-textured flowers making a fine display in mid-summer. They were usually relegated to the back of a sunny border, with something in front to hide their bare lower stems. However this won′t be necessary with this new strain. This selection produces tall spikes of large, old-fashioned bright, rose-pink flowers held over a low mound of foliage. Flowers appearing the first season. Cut plants back to 8 inches after blooming. Attractive to both butterflies and hummingbirds.

USDA Zones: 3 - 9
