Garden Peonies are old favorites for late spring display, prized for their large, colourful and fragrant blooms. Plants form an upright bush of dark green leaves that stays attractive all season. This is an award winning variety, with large, fully double, deep reddish-pink flowers. Midseason. Excellent for cutting. Peonies are easy to grow adding a bit of nostalgia to the sunny border. Choose varieties that bloom at different times providing weeks of enjoyment. Peonies seldom need to be divided or moved, but if necessary it should be carried out only in the fall. Flowering is always best in a sunny location. Trim off old stems to the ground in late fall, to help prevent disease problems.
