The Cherry Queen Cleome is the pink goddess of the flower garden; its blossoms are bright and cherry red in color. This variety blooms mid/late season. Extremely high-heat tolerant. Does well southern region garden.
Planting tip: Start indoors from 10-12 weeks before the last frost or direct sow outside 3-4 weeks after the last frost. Seeds benefit from stratification (1-2 weeks). Place seeds on the surface of moistened soil in a pot, and place pot in zip-top plastic bags inside the refrigerator for 2 weeks. Provide appropriate soil °T and bright light after refrigeration until germination occurs.
