celand Poppies are short-lived perennials that usually self-seed and come back year after year. Plants form a low tuft of light green leaves, bearing large satiny flowers for weeks on end, beginning in late spring. This strain features a wide range of pastel shades and bicolors, with especially large blooms. Good for cutting if stems are picked just as the buds begin to open. Removing faded flowers will encourage more buds to form. Allow plants to set seed. Prefers a well-drained location, and quite drought tolerant once established.
