The hardiest of the many selection of Japanese Euonymus. Plants form a dense carpet of dark green leaves with a coarse to medium texture. Foliage turns dusky purple during the colder months but remains evergreen except in very cold regions. Space 1 to 3 plants per square yard. Can be trained as a climbing vine, growing to 20 feet or more. Prune the growth tips in midsummer for the first few years, to encourage branching. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten.
